EACH State, United, destroys Life on Earth by the millions each year, unnecessarily. All Life is precious, whether domestic, wild or human, and it’s time for sanctuary.

The ONE EARTH FOUNDATION is a family owned and operated, not-for-profit organization, created out of sheer necessity. The necessity to help, to aid and to build because it is and we are ONE EARTH, ONE LIFE.

The One Earth Foundation, established in 1977 and headquarted in New Orleans, Louisiana, is the only foundation with a mission of such magnitude in existence today.

At OEF, our intentions are to help all domestic animals that have been abandoned or abused, to aid wild animals that have been injured &/or displaced from their natural habitats and to build sanctuaries where animals and humans can come together and heal. Last year alone we rescued, provided for and placed, from horses to humans, 1000 of Earth’s needy children!

As founders, we are disheartened by the incredible tragedies abounding in the United States. As individuals, we are amazed of how many people are unaware of them. According to the SPCA:

• Twelve million dogs and 30 million cats are killed (euthanized) every year.
• There is an animal in distress every 2.5 minutes.
• Thousands of cruelty cases are reported annually and millions go unreported.
• Wildlifes are treated as intruders and considered a nuisance.
